Recycle your plastic according to resin code
Recycling your plastic is one of the best things to do if you want to live green and save the environment even in your own little way.
If you have observed the recycling sign (a triangle made of 3 arrows), it has a raised number in it from 1-7. Those numbers indicates the type of resin use, which means they can be recycled in different ways.
Resin code 1 – these are Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET, PETE) ideal as container for food, beverages, and other items.
Resin code 2 – these are High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), which are perfect as your bottles for non-food items like shampoo, conditioner, liquid laundry detergent and more.
Resin 3 is PVC’s, 4 is LDPE, 5 is PP, 6 is PS, and 7 are others.
To effective recycle your plastic; segregate them according to resin code.

Some other types of light switches you need to know

The only type of light switches that we know are the ones we see and buy in hardware dealers. These types of switches are known as a single-pole switch, which turns the light on and off with a single flipping of the lever up or down. However, if you are one of those who have homes with hallways or stairs that need a series of lights and needs to be controlled from multiple locations particularly from both ends of the hallway of staircase, then you probably need to have the three-way switches. Three-way switch has three terminal screws including the green grounding screw and got no “on” or “off” mark.
Simple ways in keeping a healthy lawn
Keeping your lawn free from weed is easy and can be done in simple steps, which include removing of existing weeds, dethatching the lawn, aerating, applying grass seed to bare spots, mowing the grass, and watering and feeding the grass.
Removing your lawn’s existing weed can be done by pulling it off by hand or by a hand-held weeding tool and if the weeds are uncontrollable, use an herbicide and you are done. Next step is to dethatch the lawn to make way for weeds to grow using a rake, and then aerate your lawn, apply grass seeds to bare spot using a broadcast seed spreader, mow the grass properly when they are already establish then water and feed the grass.

How to keep pests away from your home
Having the most effective household pest control is the most common way of keeping those pests away. Beyond your wild imagination, what is more important is how you properly keep disgusting pests off your home. The most common pests that we see at home include cockroaches, rats, ants, and termites. They are commonly seen in the kitchen for they are hungry. Since nobody wants these pests around, you must keep your kitchen clean at all times because these pests hates clean areas for they may have no food at all. Keep off any food articles in your ovens, cooking stoves, and sinks and clean any spills around. Knowing these basics can keep your home from household pests and eventually maintain your family member’s health and safety.

Easy Ways to Make your Home More Eco-Friendly Tip #3
Reuse.
Most of us know the three R’s: reduce, reuse, recycle, but when we work on conserving, we often leave reuse out of the picture. While you can often find tips on how to reuse common products from other people, what you need most is creativity. With a little thought there are many items around your home that can be reused – toilet paper holders can be used to sow seeds for the vegetable patch. And old yogurt containers can be cut into strip to make plant labels. Old food jars can be refilled with homemade foods or can make great impromptu vases.
Use environmentally friendly products. When you go to the grocery store, you probably see more and more “natural” or “eco friendly” products every time. There are generally two big problems with these products: 1. Just because they’re more natural than regular products, doesn’t mean they’re entirely natural. 2, They’re often expensive.
If you want inexpensive, natural, safe products, why not just make them yourself. Vinegar is a great way to clean and disinfect glass and other surfaces. Need to remove stubborn stains? Just add some baking soda to your vinegar cleaner. Some quick searching online will lead you to hundreds of other natural safe home-made cleaning products.
We all knowing that going green means better for the environment, but it’s also better for you. Conserving resources also helps save you money, which is something most of us are happy to live with.
Furniture arranging tip for a small living room
Living in homes with limited space is now becoming a trend especially in big cities. The limited space in their living room has always been a challenge especially to moms when it comes to decorating. However, you will overcome this small living room decorating challenge if you follow the simple steps below.
Place the entertainment center first then arrange your furniture set around. It is best that the sofa would be placed opposite to the television set. You can stylishly angle your chair towards the TV set when viewing and have it angled toward the sofa for conversation purposes. It would be nice if your still have some space on the other side of the sofa so you can have a nice balance on your arrangement.
